Hot singer Lady Gaga to wear lettuce dress in India?

Indian animal rights activists have asked pop star Lady Gaga to pose in a lettuce dress and embrace vegetarianism during her visit to India this weekend, where she will be part of the star-studded unveiling of the country's first Formula 1 race.

The animal rights group PETA is calling on her to pose in a dress made out of lettuce leaves while she is in the country.

Lady Gaga, who famously wore a meat dress at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, will be performing at an invitation-only show in a five-star hotel in New Delhi after the race on Sunday.

Sachin Bangera of PETA India told the Associated Press- "If she agrees, we'll make her a dress entirely of lettuce and held together by pins and threads," . "It will be a full length gown, and we'll make sure it looks sexy. Someone will be on hand to spray the lettuce with water so that it doesn't wilt."

The dress would be constructed leaf by leaf on the singer`s body, taking some five to six hours.

Bangera also added - "Someone will be on hand to spray the lettuce with water so that it doesn`t wilt,".

The 25-year-old singer has not commented. She arrived in India on Friday, October 28. She wore a beehive wig with green and saffron highlights - a nod to the colors of the country's flag, and a one-shoulder, colorful dress designed by Indian-born Naeem Khan.

"Namaste, everyone," she said at a press conference, quoting a traditional Hindi greeting. "I feel so blessed. I never would have imagined years ago that I would be able to come to India and perform and meet my new amazing fans that are here. The sights here in India are beautiful but the most beautiful sight is the people. I'm looking forward to coming back."

The singer added- "I have built a special stage for this show that I'm doing on Sunday," . "It is unique for India. it has never been done anywhere else in the world. I will be incorporating also collaborations that I did with Indian DJs to the performance. I'm excited for you all to see it."

Earlier this year, in an interview with Indian chat show host Simi Garewal, Lady Gaga said she would like to soak up the local culture by taking an Indian cooking class.

When asked what she plans to wear during her concert, Lady Gaga said: "I don't want to spoil the surprise."

Excitement has been bubbling all week about the country's first Formula 1 Grand Prix, which is seen as a symbol of India's growing global clout while also highlighting its enormous disparities in wealth.

Gaga wants to end the problem by meeting with Obama

Lady Gaga is outraged over the suicide of a gay teen. The singer wants to meet with President Obama.Gaga expressed sadness over Twitter Wednesday about the suicide death of a 14-year-old New York boy who had complained in an online video about being bullied over his sexuality.

"Jamey Rodemeyer, 14 years old, took his life because of bullying," the platinum-selling singer posted in a series of Twitter messages about his suicide. "Bullying must become illegal. It is a hate crime."

In videos, Jamey Rodemeyer described being taunted in his school hallways and receiving hateful messages online before his suicide death Sunday outside his home in Williamsville, N.Y. The video was part of the "It Gets Better Project," which is meant to give hope to gay teens.

Classmates at his high school taunted Rodemeyer with homophobic and nasty comments in the months before his suicide. The boy's parents says their son was repeatedly singled out by school bullies over his sexuality.

At this time police are investigating whether criminal charges should be filed in the case. New York state doesn't have an anti-bullying law but authorities have said bullies could be charged with harassment or aggravated harassment.

In his blog, Rodemeyer referred to himself as gay and made frequent references to suicide and to his idol, Lady Gaga, who often sings about acceptance of gays and lesbians.

"The past days I've spent reflecting, crying, and yelling," the Grammy-winning Gaga wrote. "I have so much anger. It is hard to feel love when cruelty takes someones life." Gaga said she hoped to meet with President Obama to discuss the issue of bullying.

Lady Gaga tweeted strongly  to her 13.7 million followers: "I am meeting with our President. I will not stop fighting. This must end."

At present, we are waiting and will wait till the problem when will be end.
