Thank goodness for safety belts! Teen Mom Jenelle Evans was taken to the hospital today after smasher her SUV into a light pole, TMZ reports. Her two-year old son was also in the car.
The Teen Mom has gone through her share of troubles since she snagged a spot on the popular MTV show. She went to rehab earlier this year to deal with her issues.
"She is clean right now and has been that way for several weeks," an insider told US Weekly when she went to rehab. "She's doing this program to help her cope with all the stress in her life: Her family situation, her legal issues, her general anxiety."
The Teen Mom 2 star and an 18-year-old girl who was sitting in the front with her were treated for minor injuries from sliding forward and hitting the dashboard, while Jace, who was strapped into his car seat in the back, was absolutely fine, according to Wilmington Police spokeswoman Officer Lucy Crockett.
Hopefully that bridge won't have to be crossed and Jenelle Evans and Jace will be released from the hospital before long. It would be a shame for the little boy to miss all the excitement of trick-or-treating that is coming up in just a few days.
